Abstract : The concept of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) can be used as a foundation for establishing an integrated Intelligence System, which would be based on services as software components. It offers better coordination among institutions involved in intelligence, thus providing increase of intelligence effectiveness. In this article, the central focus is placed on determining measurement tools that allow evaluation of the service’s potential within an Intelligence Information System (IIS).
The defined metrics’ aim is to estimate the accessibility status of services in IIS, thus facilitating the decision-making process prior to initializing a request for intelligence data gathering. Taking into account the individual service characteristics of reliability and cost, we gain additional insight into both momentary and periodic, weighted accessibility status of the system. By employing these estimations we hope to enhance our ability to understand, and consequently control and improve the results produced by our IIS.

Abstract : This paper describes the gradual formation of the metamodel of the REA model level of the REA enterprise ontology. The paper aims to create a basic structure that allows creating valid models of the ontology. The first part of the paper discusses the identification of the elements used as a basis for the metamodel and their relationships. The second part describes the creation of the metamodel itself. This metamodel serves as the fundament for creating domain-specific modelling tool and can be used as a basis for an information system based on the REA enterprise ontology.

Abstract : Numerous factors, together labelled as cardiometabolic risk (CMR), increase chances for developing cardiometabolic diseases. CMR estimation has a crucial role in the early prevention and enables the prompt treatment to prevent disease progression and complications. For this purpose several calculators and scoring systems were created, all based on similar, but not the same, input variables. CMR calculators are usually based on various statistical procedures and are result of previously conducted studies. Artificial neural network (ANN) is a method of artificial intelligence that has been recently applied for assessment of CMR in an easy, non-invasive and cheap way.

Abstract : High power light emitting diodes (HP LED) are energy efficient light sources that have been developing at great speed.
Aging process was performed at increased pin temperatures, with approximate values of 80°C, 90°C and 100°C and constant current. The conditions in chambers are simultaneously monitored for approximately 5000 hours.
The change in HP LED's SPD was small and for the second test group was within the narrower wavelength interval than for the first. This interval corresponds to the phosphor emission region and indicates that important factor of white LED's SPD stability is the choice of type of phosphor used.
Keywords - HP LED, SPD, accelerated life test, change in color.

Abstract : Wire electrical discharge machining known as non-traditional machining processes, has a significant role in the manufacturing industry. Conductive materials, which can have intricate and complex forms, can be obtained regardless of hardness. In this study, the surface roughness of Sleipner cold work steel is evaluated under various machining process parameters in the WEDM process. In the experiments the feed rate, current, and pulse on time are used as independent variables. In order to predict the surface roughness, an Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference system was applied based on experimental data.
Keywords - ANFIS, WEDM, cold work tool steel, surface roughness.

Abstract : The paper deals with the multicriteria evaluation of competitive edge of an enterprise on the basis of primary criteria complex. We investigated the possibilities to apply the MCDM methods, such as SAW, COPRAS, and, as a result, the comprehensive set of primary evaluation criteria having different impact significance was created. The general index of relative competitive edge of an enterprise based on presented evaluation models (adequate to applied SAW method) has been determined. The suggested technique was applied to the case evaluation of some Lithuanian windows manufacturing enterprises.

Abstract : Today, the benefits of rapidly developing technology, as well as come to the fore the problems brought about. For this reason, individuals, institutions and organizations take measures to ensure the security of information. Information assurance is the practice of managing risks related to the use, processing, storage and transmission of information or data and the systems and processes used for those purposes. Thus, information security is now provided with information assurance measures. The presented work, especially in today's digital and networking technologies in order to ensure effective information security threats and describes the scope of what required for information assurance.

Abstract : The purpose of this paper is to analyze the key indicators of transportation companies, with emphasis on turnover of enterprises, in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), or of new European Union (EU) states before and after the economic crisis, and to compare them on the EU level.
We will look at how the economic crisis has affected transportation companies of various sizes and the number of persons employed. We will analyze also changes in the labour market, turnover, added value, profit and labour productivity according to the size classes of companies. Changes in labour productivity will be viewed based on turnover and gross added value per employed person. The work efficiency of these companies will be compared to other EU states, incl. the Baltic States.
Based on this and previous publications, we will offer a number of generalized recommendations.
Keywords - Eastern European countries, transportation, enterprises, workforce, labour productivity, turnover, added value, gross operating surplus, SME, suggestions.

Abstract : ASP and PHP are programming languages mostly used for creating websites. Unlike static HTML websites, ASP and PHP are used for creating dynamic websites and they enable interaction and exchange of information among users. User’s data is saved in the database. ASP (Active Server Pages) is a type of program that works with Microsoft and IIS (Internet Information Server). On the other hand, PHP or Hypertext Preprocessor works with Linux or Unix. PHP programs can run in Windows, Solaris, Unix and Linux, while ASP can run only on Windows based platforms. Here is represented a comparison between programming languages PHP and ASP, and results are from multiple websites.
Keywords - PHP, ASP.

Abstract : In this paper we assess the student satisfaction as an alternative approach for evaluating the quality of higher education. For this purpose we have carried out a survey on representative samples of students in two universities: “St. KlimentOhridski” (Macedonia) and “AleksanderXhuvani” (Albania). According to our empirical analysis, study programs generally meet the students’ expectations and they are more satisfied with the obtained theoretical knowledge rather than the gathered practical skills. Furthermore, they are generally pessimistic or uncertain about their future labour market perspectives which can be considered as a reason for pronounced intention to continue education after graduation.
Keywords - Higher education, students’ satisfaction, quality.
