Application of Multi-criteria Decision-making Methods for the Area of Recycling

Abstract:
In this paper, authors deal with the possible application of multi-criteria decision-making methods for the solution within the recycling process. The introduction of the paper describes different ways of application concerning multi-criteria decision-making in the various areas by the help of a literature review. The second part of the paper describes the used methodology of a research, and the third of this paper presents results of the case study, realized in the production enterprise within recycling processes of plastic wastes. The solution comprising multi-criteria decision-making process can solve the evaluation of a technological device in order to elevate recycling of plastic waste. This procedure can be an instruction or guide for a suitable, effective and useful solution for the realization of waste management in enterprises.
